Have you seen these beautiful glass windchimes we are now selling at the store? Handcrafted in Litchfield, New Hampshire by artist Amalia Flaisher, the windchimes are hand-painted with glass enamel, and kiln fired to permanently fuse the art to the glass.

“I love to paint with glass as my canvas,” says Amalia. “I can view the infusion of light and color through its transparency – like sunlight though a stained-glass window.” Amalia’s inspiration comes from her love of nature and the “spectacular hues created by the bright, warm glow of the sun and the deep blues and greens of the sea!”

The windchimes are made from recycled wine bottles, and feature a hammered aluminum clapper that releases a melodic and soothing sound. Because the art is permanently fused to the glass, the chimes can be hung year-round both indoors and outdoors.
