Charlotte, NC artist, Karen Earnhardt creates these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind mosaic birdhouses. The houses are made from PVC which Karen mosaics with brightly colored stained glass and recycled glass tiles.

The birdhouse roofs are removable for easy cleaning between broods. The hole is the perfect size for bluebirds, chickadees, wrens, titmice, nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers. Karen uses a ring of glass gems around the hole to prevent squirrels from enlarging the entrance and moving in! The houses are well ventilated although the white PVC does not tend to get hot.
