We share a passion for birds and the natural world and are committed to providing an exceptional retail experience for our customers.

We are seeking a Sales Associate with strong communication and customer service skills who can listen carefully, understand customers’ needs, and guide them in the backyard bird-feeding hobby.

An opening is currently available for a Sales Associate to work 24+ hours per week. Weekend availability is required for consideration for this position.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Customer Interaction and Sales:
• Answer customer questions and provide knowledgeable guidance on backyard bird feeding.
• Create an engaging, informative, and welcoming in-store experience.
• Process purchases using our point-of-sale system and cash register.
• Help customers carry heavier items, such as 20 lb. bags and pole components, to their vehicles.
• Restock the front of the store as needed (this will include 20lb. bags, etc.).
• Assist in receiving shipments of products and organizing them in our storage areas and sales floor.
• Interface with our online ordering portal and prepare orders for curbside and in-store pickup.

Product and Hobby Knowledge:
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our product range to provide customers with informed, practical guidance.
• Continuously expand and refine your product and backyard bird-feeding expertise.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A willingness and ability to learn, grow, and improve.
• An interest in nature, birds, and backyard bird feeding.
• Work one weekend day.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lb. bags of seed when assisting customers and restocking the sales floor.
• The ability to remain on your feet for extended periods while assisting customers and restocking the sales floor.
• A positive attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
